Sharif Anael-Bey Sifu began martial arts at age 5, studying Tae Kwon Do and Wing Chun Kung Fu, later learning Hung Ga Kung Fu from esteemed masters. In 2000, he became a disciple of Grandmaster Yee Chee Wai. Over the years, he not only leads the next generation of Hung Ga Kung Fu experts, but also utilizes his strong interpersonal skills and leadership to keep with the Chinese Martial Arts maxim "Mo Lum Yat Ga" ('the Martial Community is One Family'). In 2008, Sifu Bey was unanimously inducted into the Governing Board of Yee's Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association for his dedication to the martial community.
Hǔng-Ga Kǔen, also known as the Hǔng Kǔen or Hung Family Fist — is one of the most popular martial art styles of Southern China. It is a Southern Shaolin style of kung fu martial arts originating in the 1800s by the great Hung Hei Guen and made famous by the Chinese folk hero Wong Fei Hung — is a martial art which references and infuses the Five Animal characteristics of the Tiger(fierceness), Crane(balance), Leopard(strength), Snake(speed) and Dragon(spirit) with the Five Element strengths of Water(flowing), Metal(splitting), Wood(squeezing), Fire(rapid and rising) and Earth(solid).
Although known for its devastating and powerful close-range techniques, this system offers mental and spiritual growth achieved through rigorous internal and external training, proven life management philosophies and silent introspection.
